Candidate Introduction:

For the last 8 years I have worked on cattle stations, big farms, small organic blocks. On the cattle stations I supervised 6 people, trained them in processing beef cattle and building infrastructure. After the cattle season the owner left for several moths and felt comfortable to leave the property with 8000 head of cattle under my supervision. I did the bore runs, looking after the petrol, solar and wind operated water pumps. On the station I thought my self how to weld.

On a farm in NSW I did a full season of seeding and harvesting. setting up machinery for seeding, maintaining roads and fence lines. In harvest time I drove the chaser bin.

On most of my jobs I did the maintenance on the machinery (graders, loaders, tractor's, Ute's, chainsaws, line trimmers, mowers, etc.

I have worked as a landscaper, creating gardens, wicking bed, grey water filter system, pruning, mowing, making a bamboo fence, chain sawing. General property maintenance

I have worked as a carpenter, building a hard wood deck, making a post plan and building the deck to Australian standards, I have built Boat jetty's with a team of 4 people, most of the work was done with chainsaws.

At the moment I am working on a property for rent, here I build a compost toilet, windows for a house and I look after the gardens and tools. I recently did a 3 day course in permaculture and nature connection.

In The Netherlands I have worked for 12 years as a IT professional, I did training in costumer service and was a Microsoft MCP.

Candidate Introduction:

I am seeking employment that matches my abilities, interests and qualifications and believe I meet the requirements for the advertised position. I am 20 years of age, I was born in Australia, possess first aid certification and a variety of competency qualifications as seen in my resume. I currently drive a 2008 Holden Ute and have a clean manual driver’s license.

I have been working in a delicatessen at Coles Supermarkets since 2011 and have developed excellence in customer service and the ability to work effectively as part of a fast paced team. This is demonstrated through successful working relationships with my peers. In this job I am continuously required to monitor and maintain workplace safety.  I have also assisted with different plumbing jobs around the house (Roof/Drainage) and have also done some work with pumps with Feedworks. Doing this work has made me very interested and enthusiastic about taking up a plumbing apprenticeship.

In my current workplace many of my shifts require me to work by myself, therefore I am able to work independently and use initiative when required. I believe I am punctual, reliable, and have a very positive work ethic. I have completed work place health and safety training, online as part of TAFE studies, during my work with Volunteer Marine Rescue (VMR) and through my employment at Coles.

The skills gained through study, from my current employment, working with the VMR in addition to the experience and qualifications outlined in my resume, have provided me with maturity, problem solving skills, the ability to work within a team and an organisation and the ability to take direction as well as a willingness to learn. I believe that my qualifications and overall experience and my interest in working as an plumber would make me suitable for the advertised position. I would welcome the opportunity to discuss my application further and am available for an interview at your convenience. I can be contacted on 0497 832 953 and would be pleased to supply any other particulars you might require.
